Qiao Mi regained consciousness to find herself no longer human. To be precise, she had transformed into a cat...
In the biting cold wind, she shivered uncontrollably, curled up under a small pine tree branch laden with heavy snow. Fortunately, the blizzard had subsided, leaving only the gentle fall of snowflakes from the tree's branches.
The snowflakes melted into icy water, seeping into her fur and making her tremble. She stretched out her hand... or rather, her paw, and struggled to wipe the snow away. She was on the verge of collapse.
Just half an hour ago, she was a vibrant high school student. Half an hour later, she had transformed into a lost cat in the midst of a snowstorm!
At first, she simply thought the world had become enormous. If she hadn't been digging through the snow with her fluffy cat paws, she might have actually believed it. She focused her eyes and could vaguely see her pink cat nose, adorned with icicles.
"Meow!" she silently screamed for help, but all that came out was a weak, pitiful mew. It sounded like a small kitten, and it was heartbreaking.
She was doomed; she couldn't even communicate in human language anymore.
In the freezing cold, she didn't dare leave her current shelter. Most importantly, she still couldn't accept the reality of walking on four legs!
She waited for what felt like an eternity, until her belly, pressed against the icy snow, had lost all sensation. Finally, a mysterious creature appeared on the distant mountain slope. The glare from the snow was too dazzling, and she couldn't quite make out what it was.
"Meow meow meow!" She used her last bit of strength to cry out for help, praying that the approaching figure was a human, a kind-hearted master who would save her.
As she got a clearer look at the figure, Qiao Mi instinctively felt that heaven hadn't destined her to be a protagonist with a halo of good fortune.
She had seen tigers, those large carnivorous animals, at the zoo, but the enormous, pure white tiger before her was a first. If it weren't for the faint, domineering "king" character on its forehead when it lowered its head, she would have thought it was some new species.
"Meow..." She let out a weak whimper and retreated behind the tree trunk, unable to withstand the tiger's intimidating presence. The warm breath from its nostrils could even blow away the snowflakes around her.
The tiger seemed to be staring at her, its head slightly lowered and motionless. Its eyes, gleaming with a brownish light, were too overwhelming, and she couldn't bear to meet its gaze.
As fellow felines, they occupied vastly different positions in the food chain. The tiger was the mighty king, while she was the weak and feeble prey, naturally intimidated by the powerful predator.
Qiao Mi had nowhere left to hide. The small pine tree, which seemed enormous to her, was insignificant to the tiger. As the tree's branches blocked her small cat body, the tiger let out a dissatisfied hum, revealing its sharp, gigantic teeth.
"Meow!"
The tiger's massive paw swiped at her, and Qiao Mi barely dodged it. The paw's killing force was immense, leaving a deep and terrifying gash just a centimeter away from her. The shock made her fur stand on end, and she thought she was doomed to become the tiger's next meal.
She sprinted away on all fours, but this action only enraged the tiger further. Its next swipe of its paw effortlessly snapped the small pine tree in two, crushing Qiao Mi's last refuge.
"Roar!"
The tiger let out a low, deafening growl, scaring Qiao Mi so much that her limbs went limp, and she almost sank into the snow, unable to pull her paws out.
Thus, a bizarre scene unfolded in the snowy mountains: a small white cat struggled to crawl through the snow, meowing pitifully, while a large white tiger followed closely behind, seemingly playing a game of cat and mouse.
When the cat finally collapsed from exhaustion, the tiger slowly dug her out of the snow and opened its massive jaws, lined with sharp teeth... only to gently pick her up in its mouth.
...
Qiao Mi woke up to the warmth, unlike the nightmare where she was swallowed by the tiger. Instead, she found herself sleeping under the tiger's belly, protected by its thick fur, which absorbed the heat emanating from its body.
She must have slept too comfortably, because she rested her cat chin on the tiger's paw, lazily sticking out her small, pink tongue and letting out a soft, gentle mew. Her adorable expression was irresistible.
The tiger was gazing at her with its head tilted, seemingly charmed. Its cold, piercing eyes softened, and it opened its mouth, revealing its massive tongue. Before she could react, the tiger's tongue licked her small cat face.
When the tiger finally withdrew its tongue, her fluffy cat face was wet and soggy, with the tiger's saliva covering her exposed tongue....
Qiao Mi thought to herself: "!!! How disgusting!"
Intimidated by the tiger's fierce and overpowering gaze, she discreetly retracted her tongue and subconsciously swallowed, taking in the tiger's saliva. Surprisingly, it didn't have a strong, gamey flavor.
Later, Qiao Mi discovered that the white tiger had carried her into a mountain cave, likely its old den. Without the raging snowstorm, she had finally managed to preserve her cat life.
Initially, she feared that the tiger would store her as a food reserve. However, as time passed, she realized that wasn't the case. Firstly, during their time together, she never saw the tiger eat; secondly, when she was starving, the tiger brought back a nursing sheep for her to drink milk from.
At first, Qiao Mi struggled to accept this method of nourishment, but as her hunger grew, she gradually forgot some of her human instincts.
As the days passed, Qiao Mi and the white tiger coexisted peacefully. Most of the time, the tiger would lie in the corner of the cave, meditating, while Qiao Mi, now plumper, would curl up beside it and sleep. The tiger seemed to enjoy this arrangement.
Half a month later, sunlight began to shine through the deep mountains, and the snow started to melt, signaling the arrival of spring.
As the snow at the cave entrance gave way to sprouting green grass, something miraculous happened.
"Little cat, come here."
The massive white tiger, which had been asleep for three days, suddenly spoke in a deep, melodious male voice as soon as it woke up. It gazed at Qiao Mi, who was playing with a ball of grass in the corner.
Qiao Mi was stunned, having never heard the tiger produce anything but fierce roars before. The sound of its voice left her dazed, and she accidentally flattened the grass ball beneath her. She stared blankly at the tiger as it stood up, its enormous body occupying half of the cave.
Suddenly, a bright light flashed.
Where the white tiger had been standing, a tall, lean figure appeared. The man was over two meters tall, with flowing white hair and a completely naked, muscular body...
